A quick update on shop progress. I met with the landlord today and he’s going to have his electrician install the remaining needed outlets for my equipment. Will be done this week or by the beginning of next.
I purchased a 1/2HP variable speed (650-4400 RPM) electric motor to build a sanding station. I got some 6061 aluminum rod stock and 1/4″ steel plate as well. The aluminum will act as an arbor between the motor shaft and the sanding pad. The steel plate will be used to mount the motor onto the workbench I have.
