Have done a few things since the last entry, including installing a central workbench in the dirty room with a Wilton 5″ vise and Skil 6″ bench grinder. I also got a milling vise for drill press use for the instances where I am unable to drill or accomplish what I need on the lathe. The main addition this go-around is a Jet JML-1014VSI lathe. I will be using it for a buffing setup. Got it via craigslist and it was a new, out-of-box Amazon return. Works quite well and the variable speed setup is extremely handy for the buffing process! I have ordered a bed extension as I will be making my own buffing arbor setup in the future. But in the meantime, the BeAll 3-Buff arbor works like a charm.
