I have the pleasure of being a member of the German pipe maker’s forum: Pfeifenmacher on which are a number of skilled and professional artisan pipe makers. I had been urged to join by one of my pipe making heroes: Roger Wallenstein, a maker on Blue Lobster Pipes. Recently I was also urged to enter my ‘Gear-Punk‘ pipe for the Design Award. To my elation, my pipe won enough votes and was given the award! With that award, it has also been nominated to be in the running for the forum’s Pipe of the Year. I await with great anticipation to see who will win this prestigious accord!!
